What is the OBUG

OBUG represents Oracle Benelux User Group. The Oracle Benelux User Group is the User Group for users of Oracle products in the Benelux. Besides users of Oracle products, partners may also be associate members of the OBUG. An Associate Member shall not vote, where it comes to making decisions within the club. Associate member pay a different rate for their membership.

The same rules apply as for ordinary members



Objectives OBUG

The Oracle Benelux User Group (OBUG) is for businesses using Oracle products. These products can be applications such as e-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, JDEdwards, Hyperion, Siebel, Pirmavera OBI, Agile and much more. But also technology products such as BEA WebLogic middleware, hardware etc.

The objectives of the OBUG are:

  • Defending the interests of its members towards Oracle and Oracle Benelux Corporate
  • Be an independent platform for Oracle user
  • Sharing knowledge between members
  • Provide access to a world of knowledge and experience of OBUG members and other Oracle experts


The Oracle Benelux User Group was created in 2009 by a merger of

  • BLOUG: Belgium Luxembourg Oracle User Group
  • BRUG: Benelux Regional User Group
  • OAUG: Oracle Applications Users Group Netherlands

Membership OBUG

Members of the Oracle Benelux User Groups can be:

Legal and / or organizations involved in software and technology from Oracle.

The board decides on admission of members.

The OBUG was founded on March 13, 2007 as a federation in October 2009 and passed in a user group through a merger of the BLOUG, BRIDGE and OAUG Netherlands.

The OBUG distinguishes the following memberships:

· Members: these are users of Oracle applications in the Benelux and Oracle technology

· Associate members: These are business partners who focus on supporting and advising on the introduction of Oracle products. Even sole proprietors are included.

· A special arrangement exist for colleges, using the "Academic Program" of Oracle.

Information can be obtained via the secretariat OBUG.

Become a member of OBUG:

The Oracle Benelux User Group, the User Group for users of Oracle products from Oracle applications to Oracle databases and technologies.

Also partners, including suppliers of software and supporting partners in support and implementations of products can join the OBUG. Partners will be registered as associate members. Associate members have no voting rights within the OBUG.
